New dog training classes

Following on from our Puppy Socialisation classes or basic obedience training at home we will soon be offering an Intermediate Level class with our dog trainer, Rosalind Cheung.

Rosalind trained at the San Francisco SPCA Dog Academy and has been a dog trainer in Hong Kong since 2001. She was a Chartered Accountant in a previous life and now keeps up to date with current dog training methods as a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers in the USA. Her lessons are taught in both Cantonese and English.

Rosalind is a firm believer in positive reinforcement training techniques. They are science based, dog friendly methods which build a strong bond between handler and dog. Training is fun, safe and highly effective.

Building what was learned before, the Intermediate Level Class will help cement and refine basic obedience commands. We will also start to introduce tricks such as Play Dead, Roll-over and Spin to make playtime with your dog more fun. As this slightly more advanced level we will also start to link commands together and will allow socialisation time with other dogs in a controlled environment.

The Intermediate Course runs over 5 classes and the cost is $2,300. Unlike the Puppy Class, there is no theory class and we start straight in with building on what was learnt before.
